Grandpa's Pond
Best in Show - Topeka Art Guild 2024 Spring Show
One of my Favorite Places and Memories.
Taking my sons fishing to my wife’s father’s (Grandpa) pond. Nestled in the prairie grasses overlooking Perry Lake.
32”x48” W/ a Ks Cottonwood frame I made from 100 year old wood, milled in the original Homestead mill more then 40 years ago (Rock Creek, KS) This is a very unique piece, all materials gathered onsite from Perry Lake. The water is represented by a acrylic resin, mixed and poured over nature soil.
